{"id":885,"date":"2015-01-28T18:30:42","date_gmt":"2015-01-28T05:30:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/flicks.de\/?p=885"},"modified":"2015-01-30T00:38:43","modified_gmt":"2015-01-29T11:38:43","slug":"wanaka-franz-josef-gletscher","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flicks.de\/?p=885","title":{"rendered":"Wanaka &#8211; Franz Josef Gletscher"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mein erster Stop auf dem 288km Weg bis zum <a title=\"Franz-Josef-Gletscher\" href=\"http:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Franz-Josef-Gletscher\" target=\"_blank\">Franz Josefs Gletscher<\/a> werden sicher die <a title=\"Blue Pool Track\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rankers.co.nz\/experiences\/4289-Blue_Pools_walk_Haast_Pass_Tioripatea\" target=\"_blank\">Blue Pools<\/a> sein. Da habe ich noch ein Foto aus 2006 mit Luisa in der Tragekiepe auf der H\u00e4ngebr\u00fccke. Wir sind damals nicht bis zu den Blue Pools gelaufen, weil es heftig anfing zu regnen. Aber morgen&#8230;<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Nicht so super fr\u00fch gestartet weil ich im Cafe noch Rick und seine Freundin aus Hokitika getroffen habe. Der betreibt dort eine <a title=\"Ricks Gallery\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tectonicjade.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jadestein Gallery<\/a> und meinte ich solle da mal vorbeischauen. Das &#8222;<strong>magic word<\/strong>&#8220; f\u00fcr einen guten Deal &#8211;<em>d.h. nicht zum Touristenkurs-<\/em> hat er mir dann auch verraten \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Der\u00a0erste Stop war dann tats\u00e4chlich an den Blue Pools. Wundersch\u00f6n gelegen und durch einen 20 Min Spaziergang durch dichten Urwald bequem zu erreichen. Leider waren mal wieder rumpl\u00e4rrende Asiaten dort. Die schaffen es, den magischsten Ort durch ihre Art und Weise zu zerst\u00f6ren. Anyway, ich habe dann gewartet bis sie weg waren &#8211;<em>die haben ja zum Gl\u00fcck nie richtig Zeit. Neuseeland in 14 Tagen, da muss man Gas geben<\/em>&#8211; und dann war es richtig gut. Besonders Spa\u00df hat mir die wackelige H\u00e4ngebr\u00fccke gemacht. Ich bin bestimmt 5 mal dr\u00fcber um zu testen, bei welcher Gangart sie sich am meisten aufschaukelt \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-885 gallery-columns-4 Pools\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Danach ging es dann fast unmerklich den <a title=\"Haast Pass\" href=\"http:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Haast_Pass\" target=\"_blank\">Haast Pass<\/a> hoch. Auf einmal war da das Schild Summit &#8211; und dann ging es aber richtig runter. Die Westcoast Seite hat den Namen Pass verdient. Nochmal bei den Fantail Falls gestoppt. Jetzt nicht soooo umwerfend wenn man unter einem 151 Meter Wasserfall geduscht hat. Aber ganz sch\u00f6n und andere Menschen\u00a0hatten angefangen in dem Flussbett Steint\u00fcrmchen aufzuschichten. Das fand ich dann wiederum sehr gelungen. Immer am t\u00fcrkisblauen und tosenden <a title=\"Haast River\" href=\"http:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Haast_River\" target=\"_blank\">Haast River<\/a> entlang. Weiter untern im Tal wird der Flu\u00dflauf breit wie der Rhein, aber nur vereinzelte Arme f\u00fchren tats\u00e4chlich Wasser. Man kann sich gut vorstellen, was hier bei der Schneeschmelze los ist. Die ganzen Baumst\u00e4mme im Flussbett sprechen B\u00e4nde. Die Westk\u00fcste empf\u00e4ngt mich mit einer dicken tiefliegenden Wolkendecke. So kenne ich das. Passt zu der rauen K\u00fcste. Doch oh Wunder, nach einigen Kilometern reisst es immer mehr auf und es wird wieder sonnig. Am Bruce Bay dann wieder strahlender Sonnenschein. Der Ausflug am Strand wird dann aber bald von einem Schwarm <a title=\"Sandflies - die Pest\" href=\"http:\/\/www.teara.govt.nz\/en\/sandflies-and-mosquitoes\/page-1\" target=\"_blank\">Sandflies<\/a> gest\u00f6rt. Die Mistviecher haben mich an den Armen X-mal erwischt. dann der <a title=\"Fox-Gletscher\" href=\"http:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fox-Gletscher\" target=\"_blank\">Fox Glacier<\/a>. Hier kann man sicher alleine mehrere Tage verbringen. Aus gut unterrichteten Kreisen, wurde mir angeraten, nicht die Stra\u00dfe zum Gletscher zu nehmen, sondern vorher einen Schotterweg auf das Hochplateau zu fahren. Dort gibt es dann nach einem 30 Min Marsch durch den Urwald, mit einem grandiosen Blick auf den Gletscher. Von diesem Plateau st\u00fcrzt dann auch der Wasserfall, den ich mir hinterher auch noch mal von unten angesehen habe. Der Gletscher ist seit 2006 mal ganz bequem einen ganzen Kilometer und 400 H\u00f6henmeter zur\u00fcckgewichen. Ich hatte dann nachher von unten keinen Bock darauf, die 1,5 Stunden in einer Traube von Asiaten in FlipFlops bis zum Gletscherfu\u00df zu laufen. Zum Gl\u00fcck habe ich ja ein gutes Tele. 25km weiter war tief mit Wolken verhangen. Das Glowworm Backpackers dort ist super. Bin erst einmal sofort in den Hot Tub geh\u00fcpft. Whirlpool im Garten mit Blick in die Berge. Was will man mehr? \u00c4h &#8212; ein kaltes Bier? Right. Gab es dann auch noch. Genau wie ich los wollte, fing es so richtig an zu sch\u00fctten. Da kam die Regenjacke dann doch noch zum Einsatz.
