Die Investition in die Matratze hat sich gelohnt. Und keine Stiche. Sehr cool. Stinke ich etwa? Nein! Bei meinem Early Bird Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck treffe ich 2 Campermobilfahrer aus Frankreich. Die hatten versehentlich ein Fenster offen und sind quasi in die Lodge gefl\u00fcchtet. Von Kopf bis Fu\u00df zerstochen. Die Frau auf einem Arm 60 Stiche. Tja, Sandfly Heaven eben. Der Shuttlebus bringt uns zum Deep Water Bassin \u2013 hier ist die Basisstation der Kajak Firma. 1 Guide und 5 Teilnehmer. <!--more-->\u00dcberschaubar. Erst mal wird sich umgezogen. Lange Sportunterw\u00e4sche wird gestellt. Heros in tights \ud83d\ude42 Spritzdecke, Ostfriesennerz und Schwimmweste und los geht es an Bord eines Speedbootes. Das schiesst mit uns 15km durch den noch komplett bootfreien Sound .Die 15km d\u00fcrfen wir dann zur\u00fcck paddeln. Aber nicht den kurzen Weg des Speedbootes, sondern immer sch\u00f6n der K\u00fcstenlinie folgend. Na wir haben ja 4 Stunden Zeit&#8230;<br \/>\nDas Highlight war sicher die Durchfahrt durch einer der 2 permanenten Wasserf\u00e4lle (<a title=\"Stirling Falls\" href=\"http:\/\/waterfalls.co.nz\/waterfalls-by-region\/south-island\/221-new-zealand-waterfalls\/south-island\/fiordland\/milford-sound\/195-stirling-falls\" target=\"_blank\">Stirling Falls<\/a>). Meine G\u00fcte war das kalt und das Teil macht vielleicht einen Wind und Wellen. Da muss man mit einem Kajak richtig heftig gegen ank\u00e4mpfen, um da \u00fcberhaupt rein zu kommen. BTW, das Wasser f\u00e4llt an dieser Stelle aus einer H\u00f6he von 151m \u00fcber einen \u00dcberhang in den Sound. Insgesamt ist der Wasserfall in drei Etappen 700m hoch und wird aus einer Gletscherzunge gespeist. Lt. Maori Saga macht das Wasser dieses Falls einen Menschen der darin eintaucht, j\u00fcnger. Nun ich war gef\u00fchlt sehr lange drin und wurde nicht nach meinem Ausweis gefragt, wie ich mir gerade ein Bier bestellt habe \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-789 war k\u00f6rperlich durchaus anstrengend aber ich denke das ist die beste Art und Weise den Milford Sound zu entdecken. Alleine die Sealions die sich nur 2 Meter entfernt neben uns im Wasser getummelt haben. Solltet ihr mal in der N\u00e4he sein, spart euch die Cruise Tour auf dem Boot und geht ganz fr\u00fch morgens paddeln.<br \/>\n<strong>H A M M E R<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>Um 14:00 bin ich dann mit leichtem Wandergep\u00e4ck auf dem Bike in Richtung &#8218;The Divide&#8216; aufgebrochen. Von da aus startet ein kleiner 3 Stunden Track auf den <a title=\"Key Summit\" href=\"http:\/\/www.doc.govt.nz\/parks-and-recreation\/tracks-and-walks\/fiordland\/northern-fiordland\/routeburn-track-key-summit-track\/\" target=\"_blank\">Key Summit<\/a>. Vom Sound ist das noch einmal 35 km entfernt \u2013 also noch einmal durch den Tunnel. Am Parkplatz dann eine \u00dcberraschung. Umkleidekabinen. Das kommt mir sehr zu pass. Bikejeans aus und Shorts an. Die Wanderung selber war relativ leicht. Nicht zu steil und \u00fcberwiegend erst einmal im Schatten durch einen wilden Urwald. Nach einer Stunde ist man oberhalb der Baumgrenze. Am Summit selber dann ganz unerwartet ein Hochmoor mit schwammigem Untergrund und einer v\u00f6llig anderen Fauna. Und einem tollen Panorama. Der Aufstieg hat sich gelohnt. Bin dann da oben in der Sonne erst einmal eine Stunde eingepennt \ud83d\ude09 N\u00e4 wat sch\u00f6n.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-2' class='gallery galleryid-789 gallery-columns-3 R\u00fcckweg zur Lodge dann noch einen kurzen Stop an &#8218;<a title=\"The Chasm\" href=\"http:\/\/www.world-of-waterfalls.com\/new-zealand-the-chasm.html\" target=\"_blank\">The Chasm<\/a>&#8218; gemacht. Nach 10 Minuten durch den Urwald kommt man an eine Stelle, wo sich der Fluss durch einen kleinen Spalt im Fels quescht. In \u00d6sterreich w\u00e4re das eine Klamm. Irres Get\u00f6se aber sehr sch\u00f6n.
