Die n\u00e4chsten Tage kann ich das Handy getrost auslassen. Im Milford Sound gibt es noch nicht einmal Radio. Den Tank noch einmal randvoll gemacht. Es gab da durchaus glaubw\u00fcrdige aber leider auch widerspr\u00fcchliche Aussagen, ob es Im <a title=\"Milford Sound\" href=\"http:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Milford_Sound\" target=\"_blank\">Milford Sound<\/a> Sprit gibt. Bei einer Distanz von 120km bin ich mit meiner Maschine rechnerisch am Limit.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Vorsichtig gefahren wohlgemerkt. Aber die Strecke wird ja von dem Hollyford Pass dominiert. Der ist an seinem oberen Tunnelende immerhin 1720m hoch. Die Fahrt selber war in strahlendem Sonnschein einfach herrlich. Ich habe immer wieder mal angehalten und Fotos gemacht. Vom Flusstal \u00fcber Dschungel, lichtdurchfluteter Laubwald bis hin zu einem hochalpinen Panorama mit Schneebedeckten Gipfeln. Schon bemerkenswert, was einem auf 120km Stecke alles so an Landschaft begegnen kann. Die Stra\u00dfe selber ein Motorradtraum. Kein Verkehr (die Pendelbusse mit den Tagesausfl\u00fcglern sind weit vor mir da durch) und gef\u00e4llige Kurven. So muss das sein. Einfach genial. Den Pass hinauf ist die kleine Maschine ganz sch\u00f6n am Keuchen. Letzter Gang ist bei 90 Ende. Vierter und hochtourig will ich nicht wegen der noch ungekl\u00e4rten Spritfrage. Also gem\u00fctlich da hochgezirkelt. Am Tunnel der einspurig ist und welchselseitig befahren wird dann 6 Minuten Wartezeit. Ich bin abgestiegen und zu einem der unz\u00e4hligen Wasserf\u00e4lle geklettert.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-2' class='gallery galleryid-708 gallery-columns-3 gallery-size-thumbnail'><figure Tunnel ist ein langes grob in den Fels gehauenes Loch mit einem starken Gef\u00e4lle. Wenn man aus der Sonne kommt, sieht man erst einmal die Hand vor Augen nicht. Beleuchtung ist eher nur so ein Hinweis und es tropft ordentlich von oben herab. Teilweise richtige Kaskaden. In den ge\u00f6ffneten Helm \ud83d\ude09 Hallo wach.<\/p>\n<p>Im Milford Sound angekommen habe ich erst einmal in der Lodge eingecheckt. Erster Zelter f\u00fcr heute \u2013 freie Platzwahl. So weit so cool. Leider sehr windig und das Aufbauen des Zeltes entpuppt sich als wahres Geduldsspiel. Nur mit Hilfe einiger dicker Kieselsteine aus dem angrenzenden Flussufer gelingt das Kunstst\u00fcck. Das Oberzelt flattert wie ein Drachen. Nur 15 Passagiere an Bord. Das ist schon mal sehr angenehm. Das Boot ist deshalb wohl auch eher ein kleineres. Kein Nachteil, kommt es so doch sehr dicht an bzw. in die Wasserf\u00e4lle rein. Es ist genau so beeindruckend wie vor neun Jahren. Diese bis zu 1600m hohen senkrecht -teilweise sogar mit \u00dcberhang- Felsw\u00e4nde sind schon sehr beeindruckend. Die beiden permanenten Wasserf\u00e4lle sind mit 150+ Meter H\u00f6he fast drei mal so hoch wie die Niagaraf\u00e4lle. Da sie nicht so breit sind und weniger Wasser f\u00fchren, meint man das nicht. Aber das sind Fakten. Mit Worten kann man die Eindr\u00fccke gar nicht beschreiben. dann tats\u00e4chlich eine Zapfs\u00e4ule gefunden. Die wird aber nur einmal im Monat beliefert. Ich hatte Gl\u00fcck, Sprit war noch da und die Karte wurde akzeptiert \ud83d\ude42<br \/>\nAbends in der Lounge der Lodge wird es sehr gem\u00fctlich. Einer setzt sich ans Klavier und spielt etwas. Quert Beet und leider auch nicht sehr gut. (Nils, da h\u00e4ttest du brillieren k\u00f6nnen). Aber das tut der Stimmung keinen Abbruch. Ich bin um 10 im Bett \u2013 morgen geht es um 7:00 mit Kajaks auf den Sound. Nur eine Sandfly im Zelt und die habe ich erledigt.
